But we had to get a video made of the TremendousQUE custom BBQ smoker before it headed off on it's journey to operate around Tampa, Florida. This video features Wade who is ex-military and with the blessing of his wife got his start cooking in local barbecue competitions and started to have some success. Hey Folks, we’re here at M&R again, today we’ve got something that was a little newer and special to our build lineup about a year ago. We had a customer come in and ask us for a particularly interesting order, so we thought it’d be fun to feature. He wanted a machine with heavy wheels that he could move around through a mall or wherever, but was small enough that it could be used in any location. So we helped him draw things up and design it, and this is what we came up with. Features All Aluminum Cart using [...]

How to Transform an Old Truck into a Concession Truck

2019-11-27T16:26:57+00:00November 3rd, 2014|Video Training|0 Comments

It is possible to bootstrap a concession truck, get positive cash flow, and upgrade the truck later with your earnings. In this video with the co-owner of M&R Specialty Trailers and Trucks, Bob Pierson demonstrates how one customer was able to pick-up a used Cintas truck at auction for around $3,500. The diesel engine in this vehicle worked well, but the outside had noticeable wear-and-tear that needed to repaired before hitting the road. As a general rule of thumb, if you’re able to acquire an older truck that comes from a fleet like Cintas, bread trucks, or even FedEx trucks [...]
